The support group MESothelioma Support Yorkshire will hold meetings in 2019 on the following dates:

- 20 December 2019
MESSY provides information and support to those affected by mesothelioma, a cancer usually found in the lining of the lung, lining of the abdomen or lining of your heart and is caused by exposure to asbestos dust.
The group meets in the centre of Leeds. The meetings are informal, allowing attendees to meet, speak to and share information with others over tea and biscuits. Occasionally speakers are invited to provide information and advice. The meetings are facilitated by Simon Bolton, a Mesothelioma Clinical Nurse Specialist based at Harrogate District Hospital who set up MESSY and has considerable experience spanning many years in the care of those diagnosed with mesothelioma. Simon facilitates the meetings and can provide support to attendees outside of the meetings.
The meetings will take place at the usual venue, Park Plaza in Leeds city centre.
