Witness Appeal: Asbestos Exposure At Kalamazoo Birmingham Causes Electrician’s Mesothelioma
01 Oct 2018
John Swadling of Bromsgrove, appeals to his former colleagues who worked as electricians at Kalamazoo’s Mill Lane premises in Birmingham to contact his solicitor, Fozia Hussain at specialist mesothelioma law firm, The Asbestos Law Partnership, who is investigating a claim for John’s mesothelioma, a cancer of the lining of the lung caused by exposure to asbestos.
John served his apprenticeship and worked for Kalamazoo as an electrician for over 30 years between the 1960s and 2000s. John was based in 53 Building but his work took him all around Kalamazoo’s site. John recalls asbestos in the 53 Building, in other buildings around the site and in the equipment he repaired and maintained.
John lost touch with his electrician colleagues and others when he left Kalamazoo. He is now appealing for his colleagues at the Birmingham site including other maintenance men to come forward to assist with the investigations into his case.
If anyone can help they are urged to contact his solicitor, Fozia Hussain, at The Asbestos Law Partnership on freephone 0808 164 3730, at our Birmingham office on 0121 663 6220 or by email at foziahussain@thealp.co.uk.
